James Chiew
James Chiew, a native of Singapore, embarked on his artistic journey without the formal training typically associated with artists or designers. Despite lacking a background in art or design education, Chiew’s interest in painting began as a simple hobby. However, his innate talent and creative drive soon led him to explore other artistic mediums, including photography.
It was through photography that Chiew found his greatest acclaim. His artwork “Beatrix 3-D” garnered significant attention when it was showcased at Paleis Het Loo for the prestigious exhibition ‘Image of Beatrix’ in 2013. This milestone not only showcased Chiew’s artistic prowess but also established him as a noteworthy talent in the world of contemporary art.

This project highlighted his ability to merge his artistic vision with unconventional canvases, further solidifying his reputation as an innovative artist.
Buoyed by his successes, Chiew ventured into entrepreneurship and founded his own design studio. Here, he continues to push the boundaries of creativity, offering his expertise in both hospitality and corporate art. His distinctive style and ability to infuse spaces with artistic flair have made him a sought-after name in these industries, with his creations adorning numerous establishments and corporate settings.
