Art by Son is the stage name of Cani, pronounced Sonny. Born on May 16, 1986, in Mitrovica, Kosovo, Cani fled to the Netherlands with his family in 1992. While always fond of drawing, it wasn’t until he turned twenty-five that he began seriously pursuing art. His early focus was on portraits and tattoo design, eventually evolving into his distinctive style evident in Art by Son paintings.
