Our story began with a shared passion for art and a vision to provide a unique gallery experience to art enthusiasts and collectors. With a heritage dating back to 1980, we established ourselves as an independent, family-run gallery in the Netherlands. Our journey started with the aim to make art of exceptional quality accessible to a wide audience, with a particular focus on original works from both established european artists and emerging international talent. With our dedication to customer service and a keen eye for unique artworks, we have positioned ourselves as a leading gallery in the industry. WHO ARE WE
The owner of Empire Gallery is Nick Hoogweg. Born in 1987, he has always been deeply interested in modern art, with various works in his private collection from then-unknown artists who eventually gained prominence in the market. As a result, he has amassed a delightful private collection over the years.
Nick is passionate about sharing his love for modern art, which is why we officially launched Empire Gallery in 2024. Through the gallery, he aims to showcase his collection and promote contemporary art to a broader audience.
